Serba Ada 1001 - I was still holding the glass was about to drink, but the dawn call to prayer rang out what to do. Continue to drink or fasting?


Answer:


As stated in the Qur'an, fasting begins after dawn or dawn call to prayer.


"Eat and drink until the white thread from a black thread of the dawn. Then complete the fast until (come) night, "(QS. Al-Baqarah: 187)


however, there are exemptions for those who were holding a culinary or beverage when you hear the call to prayer. They should proceed according to the hadith below.


"When you hear the call to prayer, while the container is still in the hands of then not be placed until he finish his needs." (HR. Abu Dawud no. 2350 and classed as saheeh al-Albani)


but, more dominated scholars agree, intent on the hadith above, if the call to prayer echoed before dawn.


Ibnul Qoyyim mention, most of the hadith scholars taking dzahirnya. Then he said, is generally controlled by clerics prohibit using the dawn sahur. This is the opinion of the four priests schools, generally the scholars and opinion narrated from Umar and Ibn Abbas. (Tahdzibus Sunan).

Having brought a lot of this history as well as some history like Ibn Hazm informed them: "It's a whole, for the day has not been obvious to them." (Al-Muhalla, 4: 367)

وكلوا واشربوا حتى يتبين لكم الخيط الأبيض من الخيط الأسود من الفجر ثم أتموا الصيام إلى الليل

When he heard the call to prayer, and he understood the call to prayer is done after dawn so he should start fasting. But if the muezzin began the call to prayer before dawn so she has not had to fast, so should not eat or drink until clear to him already dawn.


So when the call to prayer Fajr (not Imsak) reverberated while we are holding a food or drink, then stop If our confidence that the call to prayer reverberated after dawn. If in doubt whether the call to prayer rang out after or before dawn, please continue, but recommended for stopping feared the dawn call to prayer rang out after dawn because we were not able to ascertain the dawn or not.
